In conjunction with releasing our election grounding & “Weekly Wind-down” resource guide, Faith Matters Network also felt inspired to offer a fall series on the topic of Reimagining Democracy leading up to our 2024 election. We recognize that in the struggle for a more democratic society, there is a need for connection— across various communities that are actively engaged in the work of healing justice. This 3-part conversation series featured movement makers, healers, and social justice warriors who shared from their own wisdom as we seek to collectively heal and rebuild.

Session 1 – On Healing & Freedom with Liza Rankow & Dr. Bernie Lim
An intergenerational conversation on what it means to heal ourselves from an ancestral, spiritual, mental & emotional place— so that we can use that wisdom in collectively healing our world.
Session 2 – On Spiritual Wellness with Rev. Vahisha Hasan & Rev. Dr. Stefan Weathers. Sr.
A conversation between two faith rooted organizers who are moving at the intersections of social justice, mental health, and equity.
Session 3 – On Post-Election Care with Rev. Jen Bailey & Min. Candace Simpson
A conversation between two wise public theologians and movement leaders on where we go from here as visionaries and healers after the 2024 election.
