FMN Foundational Resources: The Ground Beneath Our Feet

In Summer 2022, Faith Matters Network asked our staff to share resources that inspire their lives and work at FMN. What started out as a long list of books, podcasts, and essays on a Google doc soon became our first curated resource guide book from a womanist lens. This is a living document, as we are always learning and growing– but we wanted to share it with our network as a window into the spiritual, cultural, and intellectual foundation of our work in the world.

This guide is a compilation and toolkit aimed to help you tap into the wisdom of both practical and spiritual resources that have been the roots and ethos of Faith Matters Network. Our hope is these resources inspire you on your vocational journey and invite you to reflect on what stories and lineages ground your own work.
